Valentine's Day Couple

A boy surprised a girl with a photo outing on Valentine's Day. Very romantic I thought! Mason Mill Park in Roanoke, VA has an amazing, very old water wheel.


While exploring the area, we discovered this view of the bridge and the beautiful river stocked with trout.


There were very strong winds yesterday during the session and it took some strategy to get the wind to blow the hair just right!


This couple were very natural posers, very relaxed together and in front of the camera.



This shadow of the tree was amazing. I wanted them to look like they were standing on the tree limb. It was definitely a fun day for me.

The ceremony took place on the family farm.

They had a style and flair all their own.

This was a really fun small wedding at the Maridor Bed and Breakfast up in Roanoke. A very old house that has been restored and now used for just such occasions, it's beautiful.

Brandon and Dana's joy was contagious, it was a beautiful evening. This was the first time Dana had seen Brandon in his uniform, making the day just that much more special!

Fairy Tale Wedding

It was amazing to go back to my hometown and be the destination photographers for Matt and Jessica! I had been to the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC so many times before but never with such well-dressed people. Lots of friends and family made the trek to attend the event. I was amazed that I could travel 3 1/2 hours and work 12 hours and still feel great! yippee. These are a few favorite photos from the day. ~laura
